To start borrowing tools, simply become a member, check out our inventory, then stop by to pick them up!

What's a Tool Library?

A tool library is just what it sounds like: a place for community members to share resources, learn from each other, and check out tools for their own projects. Fairbanks is a community of do-it-yourselfers, from homebuilding to car repair to chicken raising. However, not everyone can afford all the tools needed for these projects, nor does everyone have the space to store them or even the desire to own them for infrequent or one-time use.
